What is Super 8?
Super 8 is real motion-picture film.
Instead of recording digitally, we shoot your wedding day on physical film cartridges using vintage Super 8 cameras. After your wedding, the film is professionally developed and scanned so it can live alongside your digital wedding films forever.
The result is warm, textured, nostalgic and completely unique.
No filter.
No preset.
Real film.
And because every roll is physical film, every Super 8 wedding film has its own little imperfections and personality. That's part of what makes it beautiful.
How does it work?
Super 8 can be added to any of our wedding film collections.
Throughout your wedding day, we'll capture select moments on Super 8 alongside our digital cameras — the quiet moments, the movement, the laughter, the champagne, the dancing and all those little pieces of the day you wish you could hold onto forever.
After your wedding, you'll receive a separate Super 8 wedding film created entirely from your film footage.
We can also weave pieces of Super 8 throughout your main wedding film, blending the nostalgic look of analog film with the clarity and emotion of your digital footage.
